If you’re anything like me, you’ve been dog-earing dresses in bridal magazines for years. While your browsing in magazines is wonderful for inspiration, it’s important to remember that the women wearing these gowns are models. Spoiler Alert: Not all dresses you see will flatter all body types.
At the start of my dress search, I had already written off mermaid/trumpet styles. No way, not for me. And what did I end up getting? That very style. The point is, you don’t know how something will look until you try it on.
