If we take it at a symbolical level, the number of bridesmaids is important for a bride due to the fact that it shows a little bit of her wealth and social status, but this happened some time in the past.

The bridesmaid dresses for which the bridesmaids are going to apply for have to be chosen in group, meaning that no one will take a single decision, it’s a collective decision, which will be taken together with the bride.
In most of the cases, the bridesmaid dresses will be chosen by the bride and she takes the final decision, we sincerely don’t agree with this procedure, because after all, the bridesmaids are the ones who are going to wear these dresses and they have to have a word to say, don’t you think so?
