Obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas is very easy. The cost is $50.00 cash (please note as of January 1,2003 the fee will be $55.00), and you will need to bring a valid driver’s license or passport for identification. They will not accept credit cards, checks, or money orders. There is no waiting period, and no blood test is required. In addition, you will not need to present divorce papers. The Clark County Marriage Bureau is open 24 hours on weekends and from 8 A.M. until midnight on weekdays. It is located downtown at Carson and 3rd Streets (close to the Golden Nugget and 4 Queens Hotels).

- No state residence or U.S. citizenship requirements.

- The legal age to marry is 18 years for both males and females. Otherwise, written consent of both parents, legal guardian or the family court is needed. Proof of age is required.

You receive a blank marriage certificate from the license agent, upon payment of the Hawaii marriage license fee. After your wedding ceremony the Hawaiian wedding officiant, minister or celebrant will certify upon the marriage certificate that a marriage has taken place. Your marriage certificate is then sent to the Hawaii Department of Health which registers the wedding certificate then returns it to you by mail (60-120 days) after your marriage has been performed.

To be legally married in Jamaica the following information applies:
- Original or certified copies of birth certificates.

- Couple must be in Jamaica at least 48 hours (2 business days, weekends do not count) to qualify for the granting of a marriage license and also to conclude the necessary wedding arrangements.
