I’ve just about got my wedding hall decor planned out, but I haven’t figured out how to handle my head bridal table. What are some creative and interesting ways I can decorate the bridal table without going overboard or winding up bankrupt?

There are a lot of ways you could go, especially if your wedding theme allows you to think a little outside of the box. In any case, don’t forget that this is your wedding: you can be extravagant, minimalist, or skip decorating the table entirely- it’s up to you!
Here are a few things to consider when planning your bridal table decor:
- Your Comfort Zone – In most cases, the head table is front and center and the guests eyes will be on you (this is certainly true during the speeches). Remember, their eyes will be on you as opposed to the table, so don’t invest if it’s not something that’s important to you.
- Room Layout – Decorations should never take away from the bridal table. When planning your decor, consider the layout of your room and the view that you and the guests will have. Backdrops, floral arrangements, candles, etc. may wind up in the way when viewed from certain parts of the room.
- Your Personality – The bridal table is where you and your beloved will spend a good chunk of your evening. You’ll appear in a lot of photos at the table, so don’t be afraid to introduce elements of your personality in the decor.
