Lend me your advice
Use of a scrapbook or small pieces of paper to hang up on a clothesline, have all the guest participate and give the bride their own marriage advice. It will be fun to look back and see what everyone had written, from serious, knowledgeable tid-bits to funny blurbs from friends.
A Bow Making Contest
Gather all the ingredients you may need to make the biggest, most fashionable now accessory. Then have all the guests strut their stuff in a “who wore it best” contest. OR, even better, make the bride wear each and every creation as everyone rates her on a 10-point scale.
Wedding Movie Charades
This is just like a regular game of charades but you only use wedding movies as your acts! From Bridesmaids (could you imagine what some of your girlfriends may do to try and act out this one?!) to 27 Dresses, there are a slew of great movies to choose from and have a ball trying to guess.
Memory Lane
Basically, everyone at the celebration tries to figure out what the bride did with everyone else at the shower. All the guests will get an index card and fill out their favorite memory they’ve had with the bride. And then the bridesmaids will take the bride down “memory lane,” as all the other family and friends try to figure out who the memory was with!
Guess the Cake
This is a fan favorite by far. You blindfold the bride (and anyone else who wants to play) as she tastes a plethora of different cake flavors. This is perfect if you plan on having a “sweets” bar already set up for everyone to enjoy – from tiny bite size cake truffles to cake pops, any “bite” will do!
