Hello…
We are planning a May wedding & something recently occurred to me. We’re having a small, private (family only, approx. 25 guests) ceremonyat our home with the reception that evening at a local country club. For the reception, we are planning on inviting our friends as well as the family attending the ceremony; approx. 75 guests total. I was wondering if an ‘announcement’ was to be sent to the reception guests, & if so, could I have any wording ideas? Also, I was planning on ordering my invites, response & reception cards (not making them). Would this mean I would have to place an order for an invitation & announcement ? Thanks for any suggestions.

Dear Two Events,
You would be sending wedding and reception invitations to those attending both events and reception invitations to those only invited to the reception. Announcements are sent to those not invited to either and only to those who must know about your new marital status.
