If there’s no blazer or sport coat option, the wedding is clearly very casual.
What time of year the wedding is happening and whether it is indoors or out play huge roles in attire. If in total doubt, ask the couple or a member of the bridal party. Most teen boys can get away with button-down shirts, ties, and khakis or dark jeans if slacks are not available. A vest is also an option, especially if the wedding is outside and the weather is a wee bit chilly. In terms of footwear, shoes that aren’t, you know, sneakers or flip-flops are best. Again, running a wedding outfit by the couple is highly suggested if attire uncertainty is floating through the air.
