If you want to go the traditional route with this wedding tune, go for it. However, it is arguably much cooler come up with a new version of the classic song or something else entirely, such as a love anthem you both adore. Acoustic versions of ‘Here Comes The Bride’ work beautifully, as do harp versions. If you want to pick a different song, go for something that skips the cheesiness factor and simply represents your love for each other. Some brides dance rather than walk down the aisle if the song is peppy enough…and why not? It’s your wedding, so do whatever you want. If you envision yourself dancing down said aisle to ‘Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)’ by the Jackson 5, do it. If you want to stay with tradition and hire a wedding band to play ‘Here Comes The Bride,’ do it. It is up to you (and your partner). Have fun and don’t be afraid to shake it!
